Altered Finds

Today, I altered my daughter's pair of plain jeans...

to this....

When I and my sister and brothers were young, my mom use to bathe us early in the afternoon just to get us ready to watch Sesame Street program. It was one of our favourites.I still watch it today with my daughter whenever I get the time to and Elmo is Leeza's favourites.
The Elmo image on the jeans was firstly hand drawn on a piece of paper and then hand cut separately. I then traced and cut them out of felt. Then I sew the pieces on a pre-cut larger than the Elmo image (black felt ). Lastly, this whole piece was hand sewn onto the jeans and I also printed the word Elmo using a White Foam Fabric paint. And there you have it..A Pair of Elmo Appliqued Jeans:)

Felt Hair Clip

This hair clip is made of a brown piece of felt and finished with a pretty black lace piece. It measures 4" by 1"(inches).

For a little girl...made of felt.
